The company’s prolific course management portfolio numbers more than 120 courses, including more than 70 that are open to public play. The company continues to develop and manage a broad range of private clubs, golf resorts, public and municipal courses, and has expanded its services to include hospitality management for conference centers, lodging operations and recreational facilities. Kemper’s wide range of clients include public agencies, investors, real-estate developers and private owners.

KemperSports sister company, KemperLesnik, the national events, sports marketing and events agency that works with recognized brands on public relations campaigns that include brand activation, social media, content and sports marketing.

NGF Takeaways

Being associated with a number of well-regarded and high profile facilities across the U.S. has further enhanced KemperSports’ strong reputation among golfers.

The company has developed a reputation for its affiliation with somewhat remote, “pure golf” getaways, most noteworthy among them being the iconic destination of Bandon Dunes. Properties like Streamsong, Sand Valley and Chambers Bay also fall within this category of elite public access courses, putting KemperSports in exceptionally unique territory within the course management space. Recently, KemperSports was selected to provide consulting services for Tobacco Road in North Carolina.

KemperClub, the company’s customer loyalty program, is also maximizing the growing course portfolio with special events and experiences that are creating a high level of engagement.

Overall, KemperSports is firmly among the top five management companies in the U.S. golf market in terms of the number of facilities it operates.
