Founded in 1916, Imperial Headwear is a leading manufacturer of premium quality headwear, apparel, and accessories for the golf market and has recently expanded into action sports.

When Imperial began, the company had one sewing machine and its only product was wool dress caps. Through the 1920s and 1930s, Imperial added uniform and military caps to its line. By 1950, the company developed the first adjustable size golf cap and has continued to dedicate new innovations to hundreds of products that are available today.

Imperial’s new DNA Project collection is inspired by the company’s past products, with a nod to modern fit and style. It’s intended to honor Imperial’s storied history in golf fashion, with at least one best-selling or fan favorite style from each decade between 1950 to 1990. Imperial’s products can be found at 97 of the top 100 golf courses in the United States, along with more than 70 percent of the nation’s top 400 courses. Additionally, the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) has voted Imperial the #1 golf headwear brand for four years in a row. In addition to a range of headwear, the company sells apparel, towels, blankets, headcovers, and hats for surf, action sports, travel, and outdoor adventure. It serves golf courses, private clubs, surf shops, breweries, and resorts, in addition to selling direct to consumers online.
