Erik Matuszewski
Erik is the Editorial Director for the NGF. Before joining the National Golf Foundation, he spent more than two decades with Bloomberg News, both as a writer and editor, with a focus on sports business and the golf industry. The New Jersey resident has also written about golf for outlets that include Forbes, LINKS and the Met Golfer.
Adam Schupak
Adam has written about golf since 1997 for the likes of Golfweek, Golf World, Morning Read, LINKS and The New York Times. The New York native is also the author of Deane Beman: Golf’s Driving Force.
Tom Mackin
Tom is an Arizona-based freelance writer and former Senior Editor at GOLF Magazine. He is a frequent contributor to multiple golf publications, including Troon Golf & Travel, The Met Golfer, Golf Monthly UK and the USGA’s website.
Adam Stanley
Adam is a Canadian-based golf journalist who has written for a multitude of outlets including PGATOUR.com, the Canadian Press, Globe & Mail, Sportsnet.ca, SCOREGolf Magazine, Golf Canada Magazine and the Golf Channel. A golf analyst for CTV News and CBC News, he’s also director of communications for the Golf Journalists Association of Canada.
Mike Buteau
Mike is a former senior golf business writer for Bloomberg News, where he focused on the most significant companies, organizations, people and trends in the industry. He still writes about the game as an Atlanta-based communications specialist.
Ed Getherall
Ed is the NGF's Director of Consulting Services and has been with the organization since 2000. He is one of the industry's foremost experts in facility operations and municipal golf, having performed nearly 200 operations reviews, feasibility studies and other due diligence projects for public agencies, facilities and ownership groups during his NGF tenure.
Joe Beditz
Joe is in his 35th year with the NGF and has served as President and Chief Executive since 1989. One of the industry's leading experts on the business of golf, Joe has published a myriad of studies and reports about the state of the game and, as a speaker, is frequently asked to provide insight and information on consumer and economic trends affecting golf's present and future.
Richard Singer
Richard has been the Director of Consulting Services for the National Golf Foundation since 1997 and has more than two decades of golf facility consulting experience. During his tenure, he's prepared hundreds of research studies for specific golf facility projects, visited and/or profiled more than 2,000 golf courses and is an expert in matters related to golf facility operation.
National Rounds Played Coalition
Golf Datatech spearheads the National Rounds Played Coalition, with assistance from the National Golf Foundation and the National Golf Course Owners Association.
Joe Passov
Joe has written about golf courses and design since 1991, including a 13-year run as "Travelin' Joe" at GOLF Magazine. He is the recipient of the 2019 Donald Ross Award from the American Society of Golf Course Architects.
Michael Croley
Michael Croley is a freelance golf writer in Ohio. His essays, course and equipment reviews have appeared in The Golfer's Journal, McKellar, Bloomberg, and Robb Report.
Chris Lewis
Chris is the owner of Innovative Written Solutions and has developed content for almost 20 golf companies and publications, among them Golf Inc., Golfdom, GolfNow.com and PGA Magazine. He is based in Michigan.
Stephanie Wei
Stephanie is a former golf writer for the Wall Street Journal and Sports Illustrated Golf Plus. The New York-based journalist is also the founder of the golf website Wei Under Par and served as a golf correspondent for Fox Sports International.
Guy Cipriano
Guy Cipriano is the Senior Editor of Golf Course Industry, where he's been on the editorial team since 2014. He's responsible for key content creation, attending industry events, producing and hosting podcasts, coordinating website and social media efforts, and editing print and digital editions. Guy is based in Northeast Ohio.
Ben Alberstadt
Ben has written regularly about the golf equipment industry for GolfWRX since 2012. A New York resident, he also covered golf-related content for Bleacher Report from 2012 through 2017.
