Century Golf was founded in 2005 with the model of acquiring and managing private clubs, public courses and golf resorts. Dallas-based Century currently operates 45 total facilities, providing solutions and programs to help improve performance.

The company designs recreational, hospitality and financial management programs, customizes services, produces long- and short-range club strategies, and works to improve member experiences.

Century Golf is also the exclusive, worldwide rights holder to Arnold Palmer Golf Management brand (and its Kingdom Magazine), with 19 facilities concurrently operating under The King’s moniker, including four courses at Walt Disney World and other Florida locations such as PGA National Resort & Spa (Palm Beach Gardens) and Florida State’s Seminole Golf Course (Tallahassee).

The partnership between Palmer Management and Disney began in 2011, signed as a 20-year alliance.

In addition, Century Golf provides consulting services for 60 golf courses managed by American Golf Corporation.

Jim Hinckley has an exclusive position within the industry, as the CEO of both Century Golf Partners and American Golf Corp. Hinckley was previously the president of ClubCorp, but left the company in 2002 and founded Century Golf three years later. Hinckley added the title of CEO at American Golf as part of an unusual merger in 2014 in which Century Golf took over American’s courses, yet the latter remained a stand-alone company.

The team at Century Golf Partners has pioneered industry leading revenue-generation and data-driven yield management programs. A noted industry expert in private club membership programs and golf revenue concepts, Century focuses on driving revenue growth through aggressive capacity utilization, creative programming and an attention to execution.

It’s a good thing to be connected to names like Palmer, Disney and Ueberroth, and Century has flourished to the tune of nearly $50 million in annual sales.

With a host of industry, hospitality and golf business veterans on its team, the company has been ever-proactive, as evidenced by 2015 renovations to both Disney’s Palm and Magnolia Courses, respectively; the rework on the Palm resulted in the course being recognized as “Renovation of the Year,” by Golf, Inc. Magazine.
