Accordia Golf

Corporate Headquarters

Tokyo, Japan

Since its founding in 2002, Accordia Golf has been a forerunner in Japan’s golf course management industry. The integrated golf course services provider has experienced considerable growth over the years, from managing 32 golf courses during its first year of operation to more than 160 properties nationwide today in the world’s No. 2 golf market.

In addition to owning and operating golf courses (primarily in large metropolitan areas or regional urban centers), the company also began to manage driving ranges in 2007. The company also sponsors “Accordia Golf Trust,” an organization that holds golf course assets, thereby increasing the country’s aggregate of operating golf courses.

“In order to provide a comfortable playing environment, we have been making all efforts to improve service quality, such as offering high quality course conditions and various playing styles at appropriate prices,” said Yuko Tashiro, Accordia’s President and CEO. “As operating golf courses and driving ranges as well as pro shops enables us to provide `comprehensive golf service’ to our customers’ entire golf life, we continue to present a `casual and enjoyable golf life’ to golfers in Japan.”

Renowned as an innovator, Accordia Golf was the first golf management company in Japan to introduce a loyalty card program, along with the concept of a pro shop. The company also utilizes its knowledge of golf course operation to operate golf course restaurants that are owned by other entities.

In total, Accordia Golf owns and/or operates almost 5% of Japan’s overall golf supply.
