National Rounds Played Coalition's Recent Articles
Rounds played in May were up 5.3%, marking the end of four consecutive monthly declines due unusually cooler temperatures and greater precipitation across the U.S.
February rounds-played were down 8.5% across the U.S., bringing the national, year-to-date total to -7.2% compared to a year ago. Much of the country was still in the off-season in February, facing cooler temperatures and greater precipitation than the same period in 2017.
National rounds played were down 5.4% in January 2018 compared to the same period a year ago. Like other winter months, January accounts for only about 3% of annual rounds, thus its impact on total annual rounds is relatively negligible.
