Backcountry

Backcountry.com is a premier online specialty retailer of outdoor gear that spans a range of activities, from hiking and camping to biking, climbing, skiing and snowboarding, running, and fly-fishing. Based just outside Park City, Utah, the company offers an extensive selection of premium apparel, both technical and casual, for men, women and children, from jackets and footwear to pants, shirts, shorts, underwear and baselayers, and swimwear.

Bobby Jones Links

Bobby Jones Links is an Atlanta-based club management company that in 2020 added nine new facilities to its portfolio in Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio and North Carolina. Bobby Jones Links also completed a multi-year, $33 million renovation to the Bobby Jones Golf Course in Atlanta, with a new golf house and restaurant as well as opening a satellite office at the flagship property.

Cadi Kiosk

Combining autonomous technology with ecommerce, Cadi is working to create a network of golf course-based kiosks that leverage a golfer’s most desired location. Cadi’s platform gives golfers the freedom to demo, compare, and purchase products at their convenience, allowing them to test clubs from the leading manufacturers on the range or course. The company’s autonomous technology uses data and Artificial Intelligence to curate product selection and create a personalized experience for each customer.

Dormie Network 

Dormie Network is a national network of clubs combining the experience of destination golf with the premier hospitality of private membership. The Dormie Network’s model is built upon creating experiences that revolve around golf and all six Dormie courses are found in “Best in State” lists from various publications, from Victoria National on reclaimed mining land in Indiana and Ballyhack on the eastern slopes of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains to the Dormie Club on the outskirts of Pinehurst in North Carolina.

Golf Ball Droppers

Using helicopters to drop golf balls as a tournament fundraiser, Ball Droppers has helped hundreds of events raise millions of dollars. In addition to a host of charitable golf outings, the company has helped youth sports fundraisers, school and church fundraisers, black tie events, and more. Along with the novelty, Ball Droppers estimates it saves 20-30 hours per event for those in charge of outings.

KKR 

KKR (Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.) is a leading global investment firm that manages multiple alternative asset classes, including private equity, credit and real assets, with strategic partners that manage hedge funds. With more than $230 billion in assets under management, KKR aims to generate attractive investment returns for its fund investors by following a patient and disciplined investment approach, employing world-class people, and driving growth and value creation with KKR portfolio companies. KKR invests its own capital alongside the capital it manages for fund investors and provides financing solutions and investment opportunities through its capital markets business.

Lynksin LLC

Lynksin’s vision is to create the most expansive and inclusive “Golfer’s Network” for individuals who truly love the game and sport of golf. The company’s network provides members the freedom and access to play many courses across its membership, while retaining their current club membership they enjoy today — public or private. Among Lynksin’s primary goals are helping members expand their golf circle, providing access to top public and private courses, eliminating the hassle of coordinating and scheduling tee times and playing partners, and creating a match play environment with multiple levels of competitiveness.

Mizuno USA Inc

Mizuno USA is a wholly owned subsidiary of its Japanese parent, which has been manufacturing and selling golf equipment since 1933. In the U.S., Mizuno is primarily involved in running, team sports such as baseball/softball and indoor/beach volleyball, and golf. The company has been ranked among the Top 100 businesses in the golf industry, with product offerings ranging from woods, irons and wedges to gloves and bags.

Nivel Parts

Nivel began as a Cushman dealership in Miami, Florida in 1968, and has since become North America’s largest provider of golf car aftermarket parts and accessories. Nivel has more than 10,000 product offerings, including products for all golf car models from major OEMs like Club Car, E-Z-Go and Yamaha, as well as a host of other brands and discontinued parts. Because the Jacksonville, Florida-based company controls the tooling and manufacturing operations for most of its items, customers are assured of consistently high product quality at a reasonable price.
