St. Andrews Golf & Country Club
St. Andrews is a 36-hole public golf facility in West Chicago that is among the city’s oldest family-run businesses, with roots dating back to the late 1920s. The commitment of the Jemsek family has earned St. Andrews numerous awards for course popularity and its banquet and golf outing programs. The facility has a practice facility ranked No. 1 in Chicago, while St. Andrews was named the 2011 Illinois Family Business of the Year for its efforts to promote junior golf. The two layouts are the St. Andrews course and the Joe Jemsek course, which is named after the former PGA pro who gained fame in the 1930’s as the long drive champion at Chicago’s World’s Fair. Down to Earth is a leading full-service landscape, irrigation and landscape construction company proudly serving multiple regions across Florida, specializing in large-scale commercial, residential, and resort services. The company’s golf division, DTE Golf, provides maintenance and management services for more than 600 holes in Florida and beyond, helping its clients boost play and revenue by an average of 15% to 20%.
