Boone County Golf Courses

Boone County operates two public golf courses just 20 minutes from Cincinnati and the Northern Kentucky International Airport. Formerly Boone Aire Country Club, Boone Links was re-opened in 1979 and designed by Robert Von Hagge. A third nine at the facility, Ridgeview, was added by Dr. Michael Hurdzan and debuted in 1989. Hurdzan’s Lassing Pointe opened in 1994 and has been ranked as the #1 public course in Kentucky by Golfweek Magazine.

The North Palm Beach Country Club is home to the Jack Nicklaus Signature course that was redesigned and opened to the public for play in the fall of 2006, then upgraded again in 2019 with new turf throughout the entire course. This links-style course is one of only two Nicklaus Signature Municipal courses in the U.S. The undulating terrain, superbly conditioned greens and setting on the Intracoastal Waterway make this course stand out among other area greats. North Palm Beach’s design features elevation changes, rolling fairways and undulated well-bunkered greens. The par-71 course was lengthened to over 7,000 yards from the back tees. With five sets of tees, Jack designed flexibility into the course to cater to every level of golfer, making it playable and challenging at the same time.
