The Sun Belt region of the U.S. is largely defined by geographies south of the 36th parallel. Stretching from Florida to California, it encompasses environments from sub-tropical to desert.

The Sun Belt region also accounts for about one-third of golf facilities and 40% of total rounds given the warmer climate and the fact that most facilities in the region are open for play year-round.
